They didn’t have the appointment in their records, but coincidentally/serendipitously had an opening at the same time. They happily offered to see me on the spot. Then, she told me about her two dogs. This person to person contact tells me as her patient, I come first and my medical needs second. She then moves on to attending to my medical condition quickly, telling me what she’s doing and what she’s finding until she is finished. Once she’s done, you feel totally confident in her analysis and what needs to be done next. Although my appointment was at the end of her day, I never felt rushed at any point in her time with me. Dr. Feldmann has been my Mom’s retina physician for approximately 7 years. My Mom suffered 2 ocular strokes 18 months apart from each other. I have had the honor and pleasure to accompany my mother to various appointments. Dr. Feldmann is so kind, gentle, funny, knowledgeable and caring. About a year ago, 3 days after my second eye of cataract surgery I had to call in for a problem. Dr. Feldman was on call that day. She met me in her office(it was a Sunday) and promptly decided I need emergency surgery. She made calls and immediately sent me to the Phillips Eye institute. Without her expertise, professionalism and very kind disposition, I might have lost vision completely. I cannot thank her enough for the care I received that day.
